Try both to see which one paints the pretty picture for you. You will need a Flexray equipped car and the keys to it :)

Hello,
You don't need an *10 atenuator.
You can download PicoScope Automotive and open it in Demo mode .
In Automotive/Comunication Networks /FlexRay you will see an example.

Hi Victor

The Guided Test from Pico https://www.picoauto.com/library/automo ... ts/flexray
Does suggest using the 60 MHz Oscilloscope Probe https://www.picoauto.com/products/test- ... cope-probe

In the description it says
"This high-quality general purpose oscilloscope probe has a 60 MHz bandwidth. A two-position slide switch allows attenuation of either x1 or x10 to be selected.
This probe is particularly useful if you want to probe CAN bus and FlexRay signals"
and
FlexRay - compared to CAN - offers a significantly greater bandwidth of 10 Mbit/s.
For sure CAN at 500 Kb/s can be measured with a 3000 Pico and I think it could manage Flexray too but not sure ? However at £18 per probe it is not a big deal to buy two just to be certain.

Hello,
First try to order this MI007 and tell me if you will receive this probe...
A pico with a bandwidht from 50MHz to 200MHz can't be used to see FlexRay signals ? :?
And why you double the post ?

I beg to differ !!
I have yet to see a Pico Product that will not considerably & comfortably exceed the capabilities that they write on the tin ??!!
Are you sure the 3000 can not look at Flexray ?? Without relying on the product specs, I'm talking real world practical ...

Which 3000 series model do you have?

One of the discontinued automotive scopes, 3223 or 3423, or a different model?
