Catch Phrases for bad techniques - Friday Fun

Post by FioranoCars »

Hi all,
it is Friday, and I'm after some phrases to describe the "poor" techniques within our industry - both relating to customers and well as "mechanics". Sorry for the cross posting for those on Facebook, but going to anyway :D

Basically I'm after some other / alternative catch phases to describe "parts cannon" "spitting bits" "silver bullet" regarding lack of testing and along the lines of "Googlenostics” or “Swapnostics” etc, not just single words but short and snappy stuff. Any pictures most welcome ! (nothing obscene or offensive please!)

Thanks, Richard

PS As penance, I'll post over the weekend a lovely scope of a failed coil pack that still showed "reasonable" current waveform (ok, not perfect) but where voltage showed the failure clearly! ... at a time when Bosch Training and others are suggesting not to test high voltage circuits using voltage and to rely on AMPS (on injectors etc ...) I'm interested in thoughts on this recommendation, but save those for the other post please!
