PicoScope 6: Spectrum view not visible

Post by anayjoshi »

I have been using PicoScope for time-domain waveform capture for over an year now, though I never quite realized PicoScope also had FFT functionality before I bumped across some tutorial videos. The problem is, I am not able to view the "Spectrum view" icon in the toolbar, and neither as one of the views in the "Views -> Add View" section (which lists only "Scope" and "XY"). My laptop screenshot is attached. Anything I am goofing up? I can foresee this could be embarrassing :?

Tools->Properties->Options and enable it there. The button will then appear on the toolbar. It is disabled by default in the automotive software as it is rarely needed.

Thank you.

Hello,
Someone used RG316 coaxial cable for custom BNC to BNC adapter?
If it is used with accelerometers I think is a good solution...
Regards

RG316 with single shield is a good choice since it is flexible and withstand heat and rather resistant against petrol and oil. Never thought about using it as probe cable for automotive use though. I mostly use them in RF and with SMA connectors, but BNC with rubber boot will be just perfect. Think I will give it a try and make some lengths.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas break
