Hi Liteace

I agree completely, but there is a way to reduce the intrusion, which is the minimise button, and that once pressed reduces the box to just the title bar, which is pretty small. see below for minimise button.

HTH in the meantime before some of that unused title bar is made available!

Oh, sorry misunderstood, so you'd like to see the zoom overview in the toolbar... never thought of that, but it would be useful, and tidy too.
cheers

Tools/ Preferences/ Options/ Un-tick Zoom Overview.

This gets rid of it. Then you can just enable it again if desired.

On the topic of zoom windows, I've noticed a few times, but again today while reviewing the Audi A3 traces, that sometimes the zoom box does not draw properly, it's a bug in the old beta (6.12.1.1691), see picture below:
overview not drawing full traces
overview not drawing full traces
Also in 6.11.12.1692 RC but only if opening a file, can't see to get it to fault on a new zoom, but think I have before ???
in 16.12.4.2427 beta again displays fault when opening the file, but re-zooming does not reproduce.

oops, the file was actually created in 6.11.12.1692 so that's where I think the zoom bug must be, but could be from the first beta mentioned as might have resaved the file in that version with this zoom created? No, the file data means it's from the capturing version, as not resaved since the capture time/date.

Anyway a small bug for the bugzilla ...
thanks
Richard
