A Friend has 2 VW Crafter, one has only 30 000 km Mileage, the other
has about 80 000km on it.
BOTH Cars are with same BJL Engine.
BOTH Cars have the exact same Problem....long starting time in the morning.
He started the Car today once before calling, so the Problem was not 100%,
but on first start and if colder it really takes long he states.
BOTH Cars run just fine as soon as the are running - Max Power no problem.
No trouble codes in either one stored.
All Temp-sensors show a difference from about 3 Degrees C to another - fine.
The VW Dealer had a look at the older one about 3 Months ago,
and changed the EGR Valve, the Pressuresensor for DPF, and the Crankshaft Sensor.
Wrote a big bill, and no change

I looked at the one with only 30k on it.
Red is Railpressure Sensor Signal
Green ist Rail Pressure Regulator on end of Rail
Blue is the Signal from the Camshaft Sensor.
If i look at this right, the Pump has no Problems, about 1 sec from nothing to
more than it needs for runing at idle.
But looking and messuring the CAM Sensor, i would say it cranks to slow,
i think at this rpm, the ECU will not start.Sounded not fast to the ear.
Both Cars got new Batterys put in, this one about 1 Year ago.
The other about 2 Years ago.
I only had a 15 Min to look, because he had to leave.
But if someone has anything i should scope, i will do that the next days.
I think Crank-Sensor and Starter power and current would be next ?
Thx Chris
