NVH Interfaces TA148, TA149 and TA259

Post by volrem »

Hi

What's the difference between NVH interfaces TA148, TA149 and TA259?

In software there are listed only TA148 and TA149. In documentation that came with NVH kit there is only TA148 listed in pack contents.

I understand that TA148 is single axis and TA149 is three axis. But TA149 vs TA259?

My kit actually has 2x TA259 interfaces. So what's the difference and what should I choose in software?

Regards,
Ahti

Hello and thank you for the post, sorry for the confusion here.

You are correct:

The TA148 is a single output device (3 axis into 1)
The TA149 is a 3 output device (Each axis measured individual and output accordingly)
The TA259 is identical to the TA149. There is no difference other than the part number/label

I understand this will cause confusion and it will be amended in the software and in the literature to cover both part numbers (TA149 and TA259)

When using the software, at present you have 2 x options when entering the relevant NVH Intertace (TA148 and TA149)

If you have a TA259 then select TA149
NVH 3 OUTPUT INTERFACE
NVH 3 OUTPUT INTERFACE
I hope this helps and thank you highlighting this issue

Take care.......Steve
