Nissan X-trail Intermittent no start rough idle

Post by nierka19 »

Hi, the car is Nissan X-trail 2.0 103kW 2002 year. Intermittent no start, rough idle but just then engine is cold. The problem is intermittent missing injector and ignition coil control. I attach psdata files. That can cause no injector control?
I took all measurements from ECU side.

P.S at the same time than I have rough idle my crankshaft and camshaft signal is the same, it doesn't change at all.

Interesting. Have you considered this -
topic9755.html

From a quick look the coil shuts down at the same position and the injector shuts down on either one event or the following. Try disconnecting a coil at a time (COP IIRC) and see how it behaves.

The reason is cam crank relationship issue (jumped timing or chain is stretched).

Too easy.

Did this not log any codes? Usually a cam sensor code.

You didn't happen to get any captures of Cam, Crank first attempt at starting before oil pressure has been built up?
Reason I ask is I'm after a few example's to confirm, or not, the chain stretch/slack is easily visible on the Cam signal - more evident than looking at sync.
