I took the plunge and bought one of the Flikr One's and while not tried it yet for cable heat/parasitic drain, I am impressed with the range of other uses diagnostically in cars!

We have a couple of drain cars with us, so we'll try it and see (one is 600ma and another 350ma, which is large by our standards normally we're chasing no more than 200-250ma) ... I'll post the results if they are worthy!

Any other articles on InfraRed uses most welcome
