Can't attachment a Adobe Acrobat File to the diagnostic disc

Post by KimAndersen »

Is there anyone that are experiencing the same as I in regards to attachment of a Adobe Acrobat File to this forum.

I'm getting this message when I´m trying to attach a file.

" Sorry, you have been blocked You are unable to access picoauto.com "

It's strange, I never had this problem before.

Regards
Kim

Hello Kim sorry for the late reply.

I have just uploaded the file below with no issues using Google Chrome and Windows 10
Find-Glitches-Faster-with-PicoScope.pdf
(408.41 KiB) Downloaded 538 times
Is your error message accompanied with any error codes or additional detail?

Could you provide a couple of details about your operating system and browser?

I will try to reproduce this symptom here at Pico

Take care........Steve

Hello Steve

I still have the same problem here today.

It's apparently CloudFlare that are blocking my upload function.
I´ve a number from CloudFlare ( CloudFlare Ray ID: 2729b9c2b23240d6 ) if this can help you.

My compter are using Windows 10 Home Edition and my browser are Firefox 43.0.4.
As said before - I´ve never had this problem before, so something must had happened.

Kim

Hello Steve

I've managed to narrow it down to a browser problem.

I tried the new browser Microsoft Edge and it worked partly. It came with a error from the PHP server saying that the upload function had a fail, but despite this error I decided to press the submit button and to my big surprise - it worked.

I've never had a problem with my trusted Firefox browser before now. So the obvious question is now whether this is a browser problem or a programming problem at the PHP server !!!.

I know from my time as web programmer and administrator on several web sites how little it takes to mess up some script code and nothing is working.

I hope you find the cause to this problem as I wouldn't change my browser to another.

Regards
Kim

Can you confirm that it was the same file that you tried with both the Firefox and Edge browsers ?

and has it been posted successfully somewhere on the site ?

Yes, I can confirm that I've used the same PDF document on both browsers.
