Thank you for the image as this helps and opens up another avenue to explore.

I have included another alternative that should be tested too.
CONNECTION METHOD.jpg
Not sure of the results here or how they will differ?

I am sure they will all demonstrate certain characteristics but I do like your line of thinking HBR and Tode as the connection is far simpler. (Especially for a road test)

Once again I will test these configurations and post back when I can.

Take care.......Steve

Hi

I have tested all three options on same car. Results are different and when I have time I'll show some results.

Hello Volrem, I hope you find some time to show the difference between the measurements. What's in your opinion the best way to test the back leakage?

Kind regards.

Hello,
Today I made some captures on a piezo injectors return using connection from post 20 (I didn't know the pressure on return, specified is 10 Bar),the fuel system work good.
Until now I don't know how to read this raw data,if someone have an idea ... :D
Best regards

You can see the pulsation of the pump and the pulsation of the injectors at the same time.
If you connect the sensor ONLY to the injectors, you will see a clear signal.

Hello,
I must disconnect the feed pump to see the clear signal :D
My mistake ,I didn't know about the second non-return valve between the 5 th injector and the injectors return...
InkedCapture_LI.jpg
My measurements was made on piezo injectors, all posts until now was on electromagnetic injectors :!:
P.S.:I checked again on the car,the non-return valve from 5th injector/feed pump and return rail will be found only after 2008 year but not on my car,so what I measured was only the injectors return :?
Here is a new capture from a 2009 year engine

Hi Steve,
After using the WPS 500 for back leakage tests, what is the best way to remove any diesel
from inside. I left it hanging over a period of 24 hours to drain and open to atmosphere,
then blew through it with my mouth. I don't like the thought of diesel being inside.
What's your advice. Is there something gentle that could be flushed through with gravity,
no pressure.
Cheers Mike.
