Hello Belet and thank you for the post.

Waveforms per second (wfm/s) is not often discussed within our world of automotive but you can find an excellent description here from our Test and Measurement site (T&M) as the explanation applies to our scopes too

https://www.picotech.com/library/oscill ... date-rates

Accompanied with a forum topic surrounding "Imporved" wfm/s update rates

https://www.picotech.com/support/topic13967.html

In answer to your question "how many wfms/s can Pico4425 reach?" the links above indicate our Deep memory USB 3.0 scopes (4425) can achieve 100,000 wfm/s dependent upon a number of factors:

1. The software in use as software is continually updated and improved
2. The number of samples / time frame selected
3. The number of active channels
4. The USB design, USB 2.0 USB 3.0
5. The loading of the USB hardware installed on the PC in use
6. The loading on the PC's resources (PC performance)
7. The implementation of "Rapid Trigger" mode when the scope is capturing data below 1 ms/div

Rapid Trigger mode is activated via the Tools > Preferences > Options Tab (See image below)
RAPID TRIGGER MODE.jpg
I hope this information is of some help, take care.......Steve

Thanks for your reply, Steve
It really help me a lot.
The waveform update rate is seldom mentioned in automotive field as you said, while it is more often in test and measurement field.
