4424. AX409/238 not suitable for Automotive 6

Post by AlanEss »

I am new to this and have just purchased a two year old 4424 which as far as I knew from research on this site would be suitable for Automotive use.

It appears to be a late model Max 100 volts input.

Imagine my horror on receiving a message saying that the connected scope is not an acceptable device.

What is going on?

Any advice please!

Very disgruntled potential user.

Hi
from research on this site would be suitable for Automotive use.
Can you link to this please?

I'm assuming you are saying it is suitable for Automotive use therefore assuming it should work with the Auto software. Yes?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.
We must point out to all customers that the T & M products will NOT run on automotive software. Any automotive scope has a higher voltage protection for use with Ignition and Injector systems. Remember the high voltage that some of these systems run at.
Please refer to the automotive web site.
Thanks
Phil.
