Vauxhall Corsa C P0170 Fuel Trim Bank 1

Post by LeeT »

Hi guys, I originally had the code P0100 (MAF Sensor) so that was replaced and the car ran much better, but then I had P0170 which is fuel trim Bank 1

I have tried finding leaks in the vacuum by spraying carb cleaner on the pipes but I can't find one. The garage I bought it from told me they changed the O2 Sensor but I'm not 100% certain.

The voltage on the O2 Sensor bank 1 sways really fast between 0.000-0.900 but I have now been lead to believe that this is normal(?) The Bank 2 one stays around 0.44-0.46

I also paid for a full service and a fuel filter replacement!

I have no idea and am completely clueless

thank you.

You can start by checking the fueltrims to find out if the mixture is lean or rich.

And check freeze frame, that will give some direction.
