Hi guys , I had a 04 Kia Sorento 3.5 Dohc recheck from a different shop.. vehicle had a miss on cyl 5, new plugs and wires were intalled. I quickly connected the firstlook pulse sensor and checked exhaust waveforms, it was nice and even (no picture), inyectors working good.... but the intake waveform had a problem especially with cyl 5....here are some pics from intake at idle.
We recommend extra labor for further diagnostic and posible mechanical issues buy customer didn't wan to spend more money and left....two months later customer tell me that the problem was fixed ...the timing was off in one bank.
Can somebody explain me please if I could have seen that issue by just looking at the intake waveform...without checking crank and cam waveforms or going further in the diagnostic.

Thank you Freddy...car is gone ..I was just curious to see if we can detect a timing problem by just looking at the intake vacuum waveform...if somebody have a intake waveform from a v6 with timing off in one bank please let me know .....I need to take this out of my head..thank you.
