Printing logo issues on battery test

Post by AutoElec »

Using Version: 1.4.12 build 6
Driver: ps3000.dll (3.6.4.79) and ps4000.dll (1.1.0.140)
We have a wide logo, and although the main Pico program copes no problem, within the Diagnostics, the logo appears 40mm deep x 130mm wide, loosing about half the width.
It then misses the web url and company name off completely.

Is there anyway to print the waveforms too?

also the footer has 3 lines of Pico contact info! is that really needed? Can it not be cut down to something like the Automotive footer?

Otherwise thanks for a great tool, please keep up the good work!

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your forum post.

Could you email me your logo to my email address which is lhearnden@picotech.com. I suspect that it could just be a sizing issue but with your logo, I will be able to look into this.

In regards to the other comments you made we will be looking into these so please keep looking at our website for updated software uploads and please check the release notes as this will let you know when ammendments have been made to both Picoscope and Pico Diagnostics.

To be able to print the 'Battery Test' image then you could for now do a print screen and paste this into paint or word which will allow you to then print the image from your printer for customer reports.

I hope this helps and I look forward to receiving your logo.

Kind Regards

Lee - Automotive Technical Specialist :D

Hi,

I would like to also see the full Battery test results in a printable format if possible.

It would look impressive to show a customer the printed battery test complete with colourful graphing.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,

Iain

Hi There,

Once the battery test is complete you can choose "File>Print Preview" then of course from here you can click the printer icon to get the results printed. The printout will show your information and the customer information at the top of the page.

I have however noticed that this could be improved, so will speak to Development on the matter.

The latest build is currently running through the test phase.

The printing issues have been corrected for the next build. Keep an eye out on here, or in the newsletter for build release information!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the update.

On my version that came with beta 6.7.2.1 I never saw the graph at the bottom of the page.

Is this in the newer release thats coming.

Regards,

Iain

We're using Diagnostics Version: 1.5.11 build 35 from beta Version: 6.7.10.5, still no waveform or extended test data printing, but hopeful that Tim is working on these (and logo printing/resizing issues).

Also a few issues on balance test with the relativity numbers having huge amount of decimal places so not looking too good aesthetically!

We're collecting plenty of data on 8, 10 and 12 cylinder models, so that hopefully some further refinement can be achieved for the calculations.

It's an addon with huge potential, fingers crossed !!

thanks
