I have the same problem. No mater what I try I can not get the Pico Diagnostics to work. I've tried on three seperate vehicles and cable setups. No good. Is there something wrong with this version? t.i.a.
Ive taken a look at this and I agree there is a problem with Pico Diagnostics with the 3000 Series Oscilloscope. Its been reported to the software engineers and they are looking into this.
Please keep checking the Software download page for a new release and check the release notes.
In the mean time you can download version R6.5.80 from the Archive on the following link in which I have tested this version and it works fine:-
We have had this conversation many times but I have to say it again here.
The PicoScope and the Pico Diagnostics installers need to divorce.
We should not have to choose to have an inferior PicoScope build to get a functional Pico Diagnostics. They need to be separate installers, like they used to be, so we can choose the versions that work best for us. Then we could have the latest PicoScope which works well with lots of cool new features AND and older version of Pico Diagnostics that works.
Or in the next release there may be something we don't like about the PicoScope build but have a good Pico Diagnostics. Then again we have to choose which one we want broken. It's been this way for some time now and many of us are getting somewhat frustrated.
So....let's just separate the installers so we can choose the best of both worlds.
Just to let you know we have just released a new software build for PicoScope Automotive R6.6.15. It has a list of bug fixes in which the Pico Diagnostics 3000 issue is one of them:-
Pico Diagnostics
• PS3000s not working in cylinder balance
