I am using a picoscope 3223 with a 3gHz Pentium, XP Pro.
I have the samples set at about 10k
The screen update rate is so slow, about 1/2 - 3 seconds between updates.
What can be done to fix this?
If you have a one second capture on the screen running in block mode, then a minimum of one second between screen updates would be normal operation as it takes at least one second to collect another capture.

At 50ms/div the time between screens would be 1/2 second to collect the data plus the time the PC takes to move the data from the scope to the PC. Using a modern PC with USB 2.0 and plenty of RAM, the time to move the data is minimal but dependent on the amount of data (number of active channels and samples collected). If your PC does not have enough RAM, this will slow things considerably.
You cannot change the streaming mode transition point in Pico 6 using a 3000 series scope. It will begin streaming mode at 200ms/div regardless of your settings in preferences. This is not a bad thing, since that is the optimal point so switch for best performance.
