Test immobiliser antenna coil with Pico?

Post by Dan@KCC »

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if you can test an immobiliser antenna coil with Pico?

I think there is a fault with the coil around the ignition barrel and i'd like to know if there's a way to test for a signal.

Cheers

Dan

Hi,
I have made an adapter for sniffing RF by simply connecting a small RF inductor, about 470uF, across the open end of a 1 metre BNC lead. You can cut the plug off a BNC to BNC lead or wire the inductor to the back of a BNC socket and just connect to the end of an intact BNC to BNC lead.

Hello PeterF, I recently purchased the Pico 4423, since I do not understand English well would be possible to have a pattern of transducer that you just mentioned.
Thanks
