PicoScope 7 Automotive progress update

25/03/21

Those of you who regularly visit our website may have noticed some recent additions to the A-Z of PicoScope. We have been busy creating some additional guidance for users of our PicoScope 7 Automotive software that has been in Beta testing for some time now.

We would like to thank all of you who have downloaded PicoScope 7 Automotive and who have taken the time to provide feedback. Providing the right interface and facilities for our PicoScope 4425A hardware is essential, both for us at Pico and for the thousands of technicians who use our products every day.

We are now in the final stages of that Beta testing and are preparing to release the first stable PicoScope 7 Automotive version, at which point we expect that the majority of users would want to change from PicoScope 6 to PicoScope 7. We have decided to hold that release back until we can also provide integrated access to a Beta version of the Waveform Library in PicoScope 7 and expect to make it available by June.

In parallel with that work, we are continuing to implement more features in PicoScope 7 and expect that we have a complete replacement for all PicoScope 6 functionality within the next 9-10 months.

In the meantime, please download PicoScope 7 Automotive, check out our A-Z guide and let us know what additional resources or information would be most helpful to you. Ease of use and productivity in the workshop are key for us, so let us know where we can make further improvements.

Thank you for your interest, support and feedback.
