PicoScope 7 Automotive: New guided test languages and a reminder…!

If you are a non-native English speaker, you may be glad to hear that we are continuing to expand our range of supported guided test languages in PicoScope 7 Automotive. This month, we have added Italian and Traditional Chinese translations to our tests thereby increasing our total language support to include English, German, Italian, Polish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. And there are more to come, so watch this space.
Our continued investment in guided test translations reflects our desire to make sure all our PicoScope Automotive users feel part of our global user community–we want you all to have full access to all the benefits that a PicoScope brings, including the knowledge and experience built into the guided tests but also that gained as you all learn and share your wins and successes together.
Another key component of our user community is our Waveform Library. We hope that you are enjoying the benefits of the new version included in PicoScope 7 Automotive. The Waveform Library is unique within the automotive oscilloscope market and is a fantastic resource for our PicoScope users–time and time again we see it giving you all those crucial bits of evidence you need to make key diagnostic decisions. We encourage all of you to use it, not just to share your waveforms so the whole community can benefit and grow but also to have your waveforms backed up within it. That way you can have them all in one safe space and can access them across all your computers via your My Waveforms area.
You will soon see some additional Waveform Library features appearing in future PicoScope 7 Automotive releases. Part of those will give you the ability to edit your waveform data within your My Waveforms area. However, the biggest change will be under the hood as we switch the underlying platform and technologies over to an all-new system to give substantial security, performance and stability improvements. On that note, this is a good time to remind you that when we make that switch (towards the end of June) the old library, within PicoScope 6 Automotive, will no longer work–if you want access to the Waveform Library after the switch, you will have to use PicoScope 7 Automotive.
