19/11/20

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of PicoScope 7 Automotive, version 7.0.61, is now available to download.

New Features:

Serial Decoding: Filter (Beta)

A new Filter option is now available within the serial decode table to complement the Search feature released in the previous PicoScope 7 Automotive version; 7.0.60.

Serial Decoding: Data to text (Beta)

Data contained within the decode table can now be converted to text using the appropriate template found within the Data to text feature

Please note that prior to selecting the Serial Decoding feature in PicoScope 7, a popup window will appear requesting that you accept the initial beta functionally of the serial decoder.

Custom Probes

Custom probes can now be created, edited, duplicated or deleted with the Probes menu in PicoScope 7.

Frequency Counting

Frequency Counting is now available within the Channel options menu for connected devices supporting frequency counting. (All 4000 series automotive PicoScopes.)

You can find further information on the new features above, along with a supporting video, here.

Bug Fixes:

  • The stability and appearance of the serial decode feature has been the priority for the release of PS7 version 7.0.61 with the seamless integration of “Filtering” and “Data to text”
  • Improvements to the scaling method when using the lookup table during custom probe creation
  • Correction of Fahrenheit ranges when creating a custom temperature probe

Thank you once again to the software teams for this latest version of PicoScope 7 Automotive, which you can download here or via the auto-update feature in the application.
