New PicoScope 7 Automotive release (7.0.60)

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of PicoScope 7 Automotive, version 7.0.60, is now available to download.

New Features:

  • Serial Decoding (Beta)

PicoScope version 7.0.60 predominately focuses on serial decoding

Serial Decoding search feature (Beta)

A new search feature is now available within the serial decode table allowing for rapid location of specified data within selected fields

The following post demonstrates the operation of the new search tool.

Please note, prior to selecting the Serial Decoding feature of PS7, a popup window will appear requesting you accept the initial beta functionally of the serial decoder.

In addition to the EV Guided tests listed here, further EV Guided Tests and videos have been added.

New videos now accompany the Type 1 Charger tests below:

  • Charger-vehicle communications (type 1)
  • Charger-vehicle proximity line resistance (type 1)
  • New Guided Tests & videos
  • CAN communications
  • HVAC compressor current and motor speed
  • Hybrid internal combustion engine relative compression
  • Non-intrusive touch measurements using the Coil On Plug (COP) Signal probe

 

Bug Fixes:

Once again, the stability and appearance of the serial decode feature has been the priority for the release of PS7 version 7.0.60

  • Improvements to the update of serial decode data within the graph view for each buffer
  • Improvements to the loading of PS7 files that were saved with decoded data
  • Improved handling of decoded data within the graph view when using multiple viewports, auto-arrange axis, scaling and channel hide features
  • Crank Math Channel functionally improvements when capturing above 200 ms/division
