Measurement Indicators now in PicoScope 7 Automotive Early Access

We’re pleased to announce the release of a powerful new feature in the Early Access version of PicoScope 7 Automotive: Measurement Indicators.

This update delivers deep insights for technicians and clear visibility into how automated Measurements are calculated. With Measurement Indicators, the key waveform points that underpin each Measurement are now marked directly on the scope view. You can instantly see where values like Peak to Peak, Min, and Max are derived from.

Why This Matters

Understanding what your test equipment is telling you is critical. Measurement Indicators provide immediate reassurance that:

  • The Measurement feature is working correctly
  • The results make sense for the waveform you’re analyzing
  • And if you’re unsure of what a particular Measurement does, the visual indicators help teach you on the job, in real time.

In short, you gain transparency and trust in the data your scope is giving you. That means fewer doubts, better diagnostic decisions and ultimately, higher first-time fix rates. It’s a direct route to saving time and money, with fewer comebacks and happier customers.

What’s Available Now

The initial release includes indicators for:

  • Peak to Peak
  • Minimum (Min)
  • Maximum (Max)

We’re working on expanding this feature, with more indicator types coming soon.
