The new PicoScope Kits have been reconfigured to provide more of what you wanted without increasing the price, and offer outstanding value for money. Starting at only £575, all kits feature the market-leading PicoScope system with a carefully chosen set of accessories to fit your needs. As always, additional accessories can be obtained later as you need them.
The new 2000 A current clamp has been included in the new Advanced Kit and, also features in the new Diesel Kit. The new clamp is also available as a separate accessory.

2000 A Current Clamp
The new 2000/200 A heavy duty current clamp allows you to measure up to 2000 amps without cutting, disconnecting or stripping wires. It is ideal for measuring the high currents drawn by the starter motor of commercial vehicles and large engine passenger cars. This new clamp can replace both the existing PP266 (600 A), and PP253 (2000 A) clamps with improved sensitivity, lower noise and faster response.
The TA167 features a 200 A mode for better performance at lower currents and has an improved jaw size. It also features an auto power-down facility to save battery life when not in use (this feature can be disabled for battery drain / shutdown current testing). Using advanced Hall Effect sensors for improved sensitivity and high external field rejection, the TA167 delivers a breakthrough in range and accuracy to meet the challenges of modern vehicles and particularly diesel engines.

Video Case Study
A great video Case Study by Paul Danner (ScannerDanner) and his class at Rosedale Technical Institute. Paul troubleshoots a no start problem on a 1999 Subaru Impreza.
In this unscripted video, everything was filmed live from inside the classroom. For each new step in the diagnostic process, Paul pauses to explain what he is doing and why. This makes the video much longer than previously, but allows for a more step-by-step understanding.

If you own, or are thinking of buying, a PicoScope Automotive Diagnostics Kit, you mustn't miss the Professional Diagnostics Ltd engine management diagnostics course. This two-day officialPico Technology course introduces the basic working principles of engine management systems, component testing and system diagnostics using oscilloscopes. The course is split between class-based theory sessions, and practical demonstrations in a workshop using the PicoScope Automotive Diagnostics Kit. The two day course includes everything you need to get the best from an oscilloscope.
