Adaptor M12 Deep Reach (Requires TA212)

The Adaptor M12 Deep Reach is a precision compression test adaptor designed for automotive technicians using the Pico Technology WPS500X pressure transducer. This adaptor fits M12 spark plug threads with 1.25mm pitch, commonly found in modern European and Asian engines, and must be used with the TA212 Pico standard compression hose to perform accurate running and static compression tests.

The Pico standard compression hose (not supplied with individual adaptors) TA212 must be used in conjunction with the appropriate adaptor for carrying out Engine Compression tests with the WPS500X.

Adaptors are available for the following spark plug thread sizes:

M10 Short Reach (1.0 mm pitch)
M10 Deep Reach  (1.0 mm pitch)
M12 Deep Reach  (1.25 mm pitch)
M14 Short Reach  (1.25 mm pitch)
M14 deep reach  (1.25 mm pitch)
M16 for Ford Triton style engines (1.5 mm pitch)
M18 for older engines (1.5 mm pitch)

Please ensure that the adaptor you select is the same thread size and no longer than the tip of the spark plug you are replacing.  While using a shorter adaptor than the spark plug you are replacing may produce results that are slightly low, using one that is longer may damage your engine.
