600 A DC Current Clamp
Description
The TA019 600 A DC current clamp from Pico Technology measures starter motor current draw, charging currents, and enables quick compression testing for petrol engines. Designed for automotive technicians, this clamp works with PicoScope oscilloscopes to capture AC or DC currents up to 600 amps without breaking into circuits or disturbing insulation.
These current clamps have been designed for use with PicoScope oscilloscopes and feature additional screening to reduce noise pickup.
Typical Uses
Given the size and reach of the jaws with this clamp, starter motor current draw tests up to 600 amps are incredibly easy and more importantly non-intrusive on petrol vehicles.
