Engine Misfiring – Ford F150 Waveform Notes

This waveform shows the engine at idle. It was captured from a ’99 Ford F150 5.4L. The vehicle would misfire under load and displayed a PO304 (“engine missfire cylinder 4”) DTC. A new coil corrected this fault.
