Engine Management Diagnostics using PicoScope
This two day course includes the basic working principles of Engine Management systems, testing components and system diagnostics using oscilloscopes. The focus will be to use PicoScope to evaluate engine systems and their components including sensors and actuators such as injectors, lambda sensors and ignition components. The course is split between theory and practical demonstrations in a workshop using the Pico Automotive Diagnostic Kit.
Vehicle Electronic Diagnostic
The Vehicle Electronic Diagnostic course is an independent course run by Huddersfield Technical College.
Course delegates will gain an understanding of engine management systems applied to modern motor vehicles, and using Pico automotive diagnostics equipment will interpret information to enable effective diagnosis of faults.
Autonerdz

Pico Technology and Wavehook.com are pleased to announce a two-night, automotive labscope hands-on class!
Class will be held 6pm-to-10pm on September 8th and 9th at Skyline College in San Bruno, California.
While the class will focus on PicoScope automotive oscilloscopes, the techniques used will be applicable to most labscopes commonly used in the auto repair industry.
The class will begin with a short lecture and then allow attendees to breakup into smaller groups to start using labscopes on live vehicles. We will have extra PicoScopes available for use in the lab portion of the class.
The classroom lecture will cover basic navigation of the PicoScope 6 Automotive software, simple edge triggers, scope set up techniques and guidelines as well as a method of saving waveforms for future reference.
The on-car portion will allow attendees to take what was discussed in the classroom and apply it practically. This gives the attendee the best chance of being able to use the techniques discussed effectively, when they get a problem vehicle in the bay.
Class size is limited and seats are already selling fast. The price of the class is $189.
