In 2009 Pico Technology won a Platinum award for our work with colleges, investing in young people and free training. The Skillmiles programme is a point system where you earn Skillmiles for any quantifiable service which furthers the IMI’s programme of the progression of skills in the motor industry. Skillmiles measures not only financial contributions, but also, and crucially, non–financial contributions, be it the company’s time, knowledge, skills, experience, or any other material or non-material resources that they might put towards furthering the motor industry’s skills agenda.
Engine Management Diagnostics using PicoScope
This two day course includes the basic working principles of Engine Management systems, testing components and system diagnostics using oscilloscopes. The focus will be to use PicoScope to evaluate engine systems and their components including sensors and actuators such as injectors, lambda sensors and ignition components. The course is split between theory and practical demonstrations in a workshop using the Pico Automotive Diagnostic Kit.
