1.  New Case Study: BMW 5 Series

This month we have an interesting case study for you, written by a real PicoScope user who has kindly offered to share his diagnostic knowledge.

BMW 5 Series Braking issues. A 2000 model year BMW 5 series was brought to us with the ABS/ESP light illuminated, following unsuccessful diagnosis and repair elsewhere. Follow the story as the problem was solved using a Pico oscilloscope.

2.  Exhibition News

Pico will be exhibiting at Automechanika this year, where we will have live demos on the stand and previews of some exciting new products. Engine Management Diagnostics using PicoScope

Birmingham City College, Birmingham 16-17 September 2008

This two-day course introduces the basic working principles of engine management systems, component testing and system diagnostics using oscilloscopes. The course is split between theory sessions and practical demonstrations in a workshop using the Pico Automotive Diagnostic Kit on engine rigs.
