The Pico range of automotive accessories are ideal for use with Pico Automotive Diagnostics Kits and Automotive Oscilloscopes, and other labscopes.

If you are involved with more specialised R&D work you should also consider the TC-08 thermocouple data logger for measuring temperatures up to 1800 °C, and the ADC-11 data logger for multi-channel data logging.

6-Way Universal Breakout Leads

Pico’s universal 6-way breakout leads eliminate the need to own many specific breakout leads for engine diagnostics. The breakout leads are available with 4 different sizes of connectors: 0.6 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.3 mm and 2.8 mm.

The breakout lead is simply connected into the existing cable loom and enables voltage readings to be taken from the numerous sensors in the engine compartment. The output signal can then be taken from the 4 mm banana plugs into the input of the PicoScope oscilloscope using the TA000 test lead.

2-Pin Automotive Breakout Lead (TA012)

The TA012 breakout lead enables voltage readings to be taken from the numerous sensors in the engine compartment. The breakout lead is simply connected into the existing cable loom, and the output signal can then be taken from the two 4 mm banana plugs into the automotive oscilloscope using the TA000 test lead.

Note: A TA000 test lead will be required to convert the 4 mm banana plug connection on the TA012 into a BNC connector suitable for plugging into the PicoScope.

Fuse Extension Leads (PP408)

fuse leads

Do you need to measure the current through a circuit but can’t find anywhere on the vehicle where you can connect your current clamp?
Fuse extension leads are a simple accessory that can save you valuable time.

fuse extension leads

Fuse extension leads are quick and easy to use: simply remove the fuse (of the circuit you wish to test) from your fusebox and replace it with a fuse extension lead. Now insert the fuse into the extension lead. To measure the current drawn, just connect your Pico current clamp to the extension lead.

A set of 2 fuse extension leads are supplied, allowing you to use the leads with both ATC and mini-ATC style fuses.

20:1 Attenuator (PP198)

The PP198 has been designed to allow fuel injector and primary ignition waveforms to be measured using PicoScope oscilloscope products.

The PP198 is a passive 20:1 attenuator. This means that a 20V signal at its input will appear as a 1V signal on the output. As the signal is attenuated, the PP198 allows voltages of up to 300 V to be measured.

Please note this attenuator should not be used for any high voltage measurements other than fuel injectors and primary ignition.
